Whether you're 40 or 80, dating as we get older is so much more challenging. It simply isn't like it use to be. Socially speaking our society is not built for the older single. There are new dating rules and etiquettes. The venues, events, activities, etc are limited and are usually geared towards the younger crowd. There's limited time because of more responsibilities as we get older. The list goes on. Because of these challenges, people are turning to online dating sites and dating profiles in the hopes they may meet some amazing people and maybe that special someone.

 

Great Decision But Here's The Problem

Awesome! The decision to create an online dating profile is a smart one. They're convenient, expedient and efficient. They are working for you 24 hrs a day. But, there is only one major problem. Most people have no idea how to write an engaging, captivating, and effective dating profile. The majority of people do more harm and damage to themselves then they do good. They make crucial errors that simply turn people off and those viewers move on to the next profile. I have heard this scenario from so many of the hundreds of singles I have spoken with at my singles events (read more about this in the "About Us" section) and I have read it for myself.  People create a dating profile and have little to no idea what they are doing. Their creation will ultimately have disastrous consequences, no responses. And their mistakes and turnoffs are all unnecessary and avoidable. This assessment and observation is not an opinion. It's an unfortunate fact! You don't have to be one of these people.
